Cala Bassa is located a few kilometres from San Antonio and is one of the most famous and photographed coves on the island. Its easy access and the beauty of its surroundings make it a popular choice for both locals and first-time visitors to Ibiza.
This beach combines the softness of its white sand with crystal clear waters of an intense turquoise blue, surrounded by pine trees that offer natural shade. Although it can get crowded in high season, its size and services allow you to enjoy it comfortably for a large part of the day.
In addition to its natural beauty, Cala Bassa is an ideal place to anchor by boat, as it offers quiet areas with good underwater visibility, perfect for swimming or snorkelling. On land, the atmosphere is completed by the well-known Cala Bassa Beach Club, which offers a gastronomic and musical experience without losing the relaxed charm of the beach.
Location: Cala Bassa is located on the west coast of Ibiza, about 15 minutes by car from San Antonio. It is one of the most popular coves on the island, with easy access both by road and by sea, making it a very popular destination.
Services: This beach offers a wide variety of services: deck chairs, beach umbrellas, showers, toilets, lifeguards and access adapted for people with reduced mobility. It also has several restaurants and the exclusive Cala Bassa Beach Club (CBbC), which provides an elegant and lively atmosphere.
Activities: Cala Bassa is perfect for swimming, snorkelling or enjoying water sports such as paddle surfing. It is also an ideal place to relax in the sun or have a drink at one of the beach bars overlooking the sea.
Size: It is about 250 metres long and has a wide area of fine sand. Its shallow waters make it safe for families, while the rocky sides offer variety for those looking to explore.
How to get there: Accessible by car, bus from San Antonio or water taxi. It's also a great place to anchor by boat, with clear waters and a sandy bottom perfect for a day out.
